These are imported, captive hatched babies. Each order is for 1 bag of ten babies. This is your chance to be the very first to set eyes on these babies without the possible dinkers and new morphs being sorted through by the importer (us). Why do we do this? Because people think it’s fun, and worst case scenario they still have 10 baby ball pythons that they paid below retail price for even if they didn’t find anything super special.

How it works? You place your preorder now, and we will contact you the night before the shipment is arriving to let you know your baby bag is being shipped. We will not give advance notice because we honestly never know if a shipment is leaving Africa successfully until it’s on the plane. As soon as the baby bags arrive, they are repacked, unopened, into single boxes and shipped to you overnight. Typically the time spent in the bag is under 48 hours total. We have engaged in this practice for decades now and have essentially a 100% live arrival rate with thousands of happy customers, many of whom return every year to grab a few more bags.

These are captive hatched in farms in Africa, meaning they were from either wild collected eggs or wild collected females that then laid eggs. Wild genetics with the benefits of never seeing the wild. We still recommend normal quarantine, testing, and any treatments that may be warranted as, while they aren’t from the wild, they are hatching in a reptile facility in west Africa. Very rarely have we seen any issues and it feels silly to have to say this but every year we get some doofus who is upset that we didn’t open up, inspect, and sort through his Unopened Baby bag of unsorted baby ball pythons.
