White Throat monitor – Varanus albigularis albigularis

This is a spectacular looking chunk of a monitor. He is about 1ft long.

Super well fed boy. We have it on a healthy diet of lean meats, frozen quail, and eggs now.

He does have a bit of an attitude. This is a monitor that can get large and be potentially dangerous in inexperienced hands and will need a lot of space.
